    Grant-seeking is not a quick process and the competition for federal and foundation grants is tough. The time from application to award can be eight months or more and the success rate for first-time applicants less than 10 percent. Whether successful or not, each application is an opportunity to gain insight and an important step forward. We’re in it together and will help interpret reviewers’ feedback.

    Stacie Marsh has 20 years of experience working with hospitals and healthcare systems, institutions of higher education, municipal corporations, state government agencies, and community-based organizations.

    Stacie holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs (Bloomington), where she specialized in public policy analysis and nonprofit management. She maintains a Certificate in Public Health (CPH) from the American Public Health Association and the highest industry credential in professional grantsmanship through the Grant Professionals Certification (GPC). She routinely serves on grant review panels at Federal, state, and community levels.

    A published author (“Obamacare for the GENIUS, CharityChannel Press, 2013), Stacie has a keen understanding of the changing healthcare landscape and is uniquely positioned to assist grant seekers in translating their visions to optimally resonate with funders in a competitive environment.

    Stacie has actively served on the Board of Directors for the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (PAC) since 2020. Since 2022 she has served as Chair of the Development Committee and Secretary of the Board of Directors for PAC. Stacie has also served on the Boards of Directors of NothingPink (Member-at-Large) and the Baxter Barracudas Swim Team (President, Vice President).

    Prior to moving to the Charlotte, North Carolina area in 2015, Stacie actively volunteered with the Central Indiana affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, serving as Chair of the Healthcare Reform Task Force and Chair of the Grant Review Committee.
